Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern the conditions relating to the use of Internet Speed Test (the "Service").

By using the Service, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

1. Service Description

The Service uses communications between the user's current browser and a measurement server to measure the following information.

  • Download speed
  • Upload speed
  • Network latency

The guides and FAQ provided by the Service are general reference information intended to help users understand internet connections and measurement results.

2. Measurement Results

Measurement results are results measured between the user's browser and a measurement server at a specific point in time.

Measurement results may be affected by the user's device, browser, network conditions, Wi-Fi environment, measurement server, and various other conditions.

Therefore, measurement results do not guarantee or certify any of the following.

  • Speeds contractually provided by an internet service provider
  • Whether a network or communications device is functioning properly
  • Actual performance in a specific service or application
  • Performance of any particular device
  • Future internet connection performance

For a more accurate assessment, please perform multiple tests or contact your internet service provider.

3. User Obligations

Users must use the Service only on devices and networks they are authorized to use.

Users must not engage in any of the following activities.

  • Causing excessive load on the Service or measurement system
  • Circumventing the Service's technical restrictions
  • Repeatedly sending abnormal requests using automated methods
  • Interfering with the normal operation of the Service
  • Transmitting malicious code or data that poses a security risk
  • Manipulating measurement results or using them in a misleading manner
  • Violating applicable laws or regulations

4. Provision and Modification of the Service

The Service may be provided without separate account registration.

The Service operator may modify, restrict, temporarily suspend, or terminate all or part of the Service for any of the following reasons.

  • System inspection or maintenance
  • Security issues
  • Changes to the policies or services of third-party service providers
  • Requirements imposed by laws, regulations, or government agencies
  • Technical or operational needs

The Service is not guaranteed to be available without interruption at all times or to produce identical measurement results.

5. Advertisements and Third-Party Services

The Service may display advertisements or include links to third-party websites or services.

The content and operation of advertisements and third-party services are the responsibility of their respective providers. Their inclusion does not mean that the Service guarantees or recommends those advertisements, products, or third-party services.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

Rights relating to the Service's design, documents, programs, content, and other materials belong to the Service operator or their respective lawful owners.

Except as permitted by applicable law, Service content may not be reproduced, distributed, or used commercially without authorization.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided as a reference tool for checking the status of an internet connection.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Service operator is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from any of the following.

  • Reliance on measurement results
  • Service interruptions or errors
  • The user's device or network environment
  • Third-party services such as Cloudflare or Google
  • Third-party websites or advertisements

However, this does not limit liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

8. Privacy

Information processed during use of the Service is governed by the separate Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to These Terms

The Service operator may change these Terms in response to changes to the Service or applicable laws and regulations.

The revised Terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.

Any dispute relating to the Service will be subject to the procedures and jurisdiction prescribed by applicable law.
